Literature By Captain Scott

The Author developed a love for fishing at a very young age.  His mentor and primary fishing buddy was his grandfather.  He came to appreciate the beauty and character of old fishing tackle.  After his grandfather passed away he jumped into the collecting hobby with both feet.  Over the last twenty years he has accumulated a tremendous collection of old lures, reels and other artifacts.

The author is a member of both the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC) and the Old Reel Collectors Association (ORCA) and a member of the Outdoor Writers of Ohio.  The author is a life time resident of Ohio and has traveled to all corners of the state in search of Ohio's fishing history.
